Lisa Hall for Alderman
The Greens have endorsed Lisa Hall as a candidate for Alderman in the Alice Springs Town Council elections on 29 March 2008. Jane Clark, Greens Mayoral candidate, has welcomed Lisa Hall’s nomination saying ”Her youth and energy will be a real positive for the Alice Springs Town Council.”
Lisa is the same age as the average Alice Springs resident, 33, and would welcome the opportunity to represent her peers and other residents on Council.
Lisa Hall has lived in Central Australia for over nine years and loves the unique lifestyle that the landscape and the diverse community offers.
A teacher, with a Masters in Education, Lisa Hall has taught in a variety of public and private schools including town and remote settings.
After traveling widely in Australia and abroad, Lisa Hall has recently bought her first home in Alice. Her experience in Uniting Church and Education based committees coupled with her youth and energy will enable her to contribute productively to the work of Council.
Lisa has been active in sporting clubs and community groups and around Alice Springs and is ready to work cooperatively as an Alderman. |
